I'm sure this is a pretty common experience, but I was just a part of a situation like this. A whole bunch of us apped into a canon and I ended up idling out — but not because I wanted to. Sucks because I was so excited to play with the newest member of our cast, but at the same time, I had no idea how to explain that I had to disengage because of XYZ to someone who had just stepped into the ring.

If you are who I'm thinking of, I'm super sorry you had to walk into that mess and that it affected you in any way. I've been perusing memes in hopes that we have an opportunity to connect again, because honestly, I was so excited to have you and I would die for a chance to play with you again! (And even if you aren't the person I'm thinking of, I'm sure your former castmates feel the same way.)

Whether you're who I'm thinking of or not, this is really comforting to hear. You aren't obligated to share your reasons for idling or dropping with anyone, so don't feel bad about that!

I've been too shy to tag the former castmate I've seen on memes, but you've given me hope that it wouldn't be too awkward and that they may still want to play.
