premise is thoughtful and settings leave a lot open for exploration. more than most games i really think it's what you make of it. since it was designed to be casual with low requirements i think it sometimes gets put on the back burner to other games people are in with strict ac requirements.

that said i love a quiet place with no stress and literally zero drama. also seems like it'd be a great space to put a character that doesn't get much play either because they aren't allowed elsewhere or because you've just started exploring them.

yeah i was thinking of trying out someone i am interested in exploring but i haven't really worked out well in other games.

how slow would you say it is? i am not a boomeranger myself, but are we talking a tag a week from people or every few days? has it seemed okay getting cross-canon interaction?

my experience is that cross canon is a must. even in the canons with the biggest casts i see more cross interaction than anything. we've got a couple characters i've observed seem to only be in the game to play with each other but it's not bad.

i was curious so i looked at the august event log. there's over 1400 comments and 11 top levels. july's event log had over 1800 comments and 22 top levels. the game structure is that you spend two months in a specific setting so july was a new arrival and august was month two. september should be an entirely new setting.

looks like at a cursory glance the average thread has between 1 - 4 tags a day.

last month there was an event that allowed every player to ask an npc a question and get a tailored outcome based on their actions that month. every month's setting post includes a full playlist of songs. so the mods definitely care and work hard.
