Nobody will play with me nobody what I do. try to make responses semi-interesting, don't harass people for followup, try to tag out every now and then ... Either no response, or I get dropped a few tags in. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, so maybe I'm just a shitty writer.

Just bummed at the slump I've been in this month. I have enough AC for my game so I've just been taking a bit of a hiatus because I'm just feeling burnt out. I want to play I just have no energy to do so. Hoping my drive returns soon cause I've got so much I want to play out with my CR still!

I've been having fun in the game I'm in, but I've been second-guessing my tag quality so much that it takes me forever to write them. I end up having a stint of doing fine on tags, doing tagouts, and then overthinking myself into task paralysis so hard I end up scrambling for AC. A few of my threads didn't really go anywhere so I might not make AC this time around, I feel like it's too late to start something else, and I'm trying to just make peace with it if it happens.

There's a person who consistently drops our threads regardless of what game it is.

It sucks cause I really like their writing and definitely enjoyed playing with them.

I don’t like playing in games, but getting consistent RP outside of games feels really hard without getting lucky or playing from a very popular canon.

There's some CR I really want to develop in a game I joined but the other player tags very slowly and it's making it hard to stay enthusiastic when it's been like two months since our characters met and we're still doing their first meeting.

Not that I begrudge them their schedule or anything. Just bums me out bc I really want this CR to go places.

this time last week, i had over a dozen active threads.

today i've got... none. haven't gotten a single tag since thursday, and i already checked if it was notifs not going through.

i feel like no one in my game actually wants to rp with me. i get a lot of lipservice up front, but my threads are always lowest priority, given really short/phoning it in level tagbacks, or outright dropped. if i try to bring up our cr oocly, i get talked over and ignored.

which would be fine on its own, and i've cut my losses and accepted that my character wasn't a good fit for a game before. but i'm one of the game's only mods. so dropping isn't really an option.

i can still make ac at least, but i'm not having fun anymore and it sucks.

i'm so tired of being the only consistent tagger in my castmate/close cr circle. it feels like we constantly make all these fun plans that go nowhere because threads get dropped five or six tags in, with people promising to pick them up again and then never getting to it. my ship partner keeps jokingly complaining about how our characters are so slow to get together, yet has dropped pretty much every significant thread that could move the relationship along.

i know it's not just me, because they drop threads with pretty much everyone else too. they're all great writers and fun to play off of when they do tag, but it feels like i'm constantly getting rp blueballed to the point where i'm tempted to stop playing my character and pick up someone new just out of sheer frustration.

Working out why this game isn't clicking for me and why I'm struggling to get CR makes me feel a little better but damn it, I want this game to click for me and I want some CR!

i think i've lost the love/inspiration for a game i've been in for awhile but i don't know if i'm ready to drop and if i'll regret it if i do, or if i can get the love back, or if i know it's already over for me and i'm just treading water.

I love all my tags and I love my threading partners but lately it's been feeling very obvious that I'm the backup ship to their more favored priority otps.

I think I got spoiled by getting used to always being someone's favorite with my old character and since dropping them and picking up a new one I feel like I spend a lot of time sitting on the backburner until someone gets bored enough to tag me back.

I've been playing the same character for years. I *like* this character because I keep discovering new ways and things I can do with them. But it's clear to me not many other people care and I worry that I am boring and/or obsessive. But each time I try to pick up a new character, they don't have the staying power, and I'm not as good or consistent with their tags.
