the mods have been embellishing this story for almost three years now and rewriting history until it goes from 'zero was called out on being abusive' to 'the player was the abuser of sooooo many people'

Yeah, this one does make it seem that the intent WAS to ask them not to app that character. Which would be fair, I think. They just went about it in a really bad way.

This response is about as good as one could expect, imo. The other mods don't seem to be on the same page though, it's true. Which is a little ???

This person seems like the one being the most honest though.

it doesn't matter what character they actually chose, I can guarantee you that they would have bullied them out anyway. stuff just lined up in the worst way to give them the maximum "reason" to coerce someone to leave

I agree that out of the three mods, Angel seems to be the only one who is sounding more responsible. But I'm not entirely convinced, not when I see they make more mentions of this player they had a disagreement with than they do even addressing their behavior. There's a lot of emphasis on this dawn being terrible to them and very little on taking responsibility for their own actions. It just comes off as very disingenuous, like they want everyone to give them a pass because they are so very hurt and traumatized. It's not a good look and I'm pretty disappointed.

it's perpetuating a cycle of abuse as well. 'sure, i did a shitty thing that on its own was shitty and shouldn't have been done, but i was abused/assaulted/scared myself, and that made me do that'. like, be a little more 'you made me hit you' with this shit. they reacted in a way they shouldn't have. period. regardless of circumstances. unless the person they were talking to was the person they had a problem with, the topic shouldn't have come up. but they transposed their bullshit onto an innocent party because 'i saw x in your plurk and it triggered me'.

not a good reason. own your shit. stop perpetuating treating someone else badly because you couldn't control your own actions. you could. you're just looking for an excuse to validate being a shitbird.
