The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Things people have been named and shamed over on wg include being too flaky, being too active, being considered unapproachable, preferring ships or smut over gen, being ooc, being a public mod, being an anonymous mod, having opinions on game mechanics, being heavily involved in game plots, and getting into inconsequential arguments on plurk and/or discord.

none of those things are toxic.

i was once brought up on wankgate because a family vacation overlapped with someone viciously ragging on another player in wankgate, and that...somehow meant it was me doing it?

i had never spoken to the player or interacted with them either oocly or icly and had in fact been offline the entire time focusing on my fun family vacation so i have no idea why they decided i was actually spending my time attacking them when i had zero reason to do so.
