Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

I love my rp partner to bits. If I hadn't met them five years ago, I doubt I'd still be in this hobby. They write beautifully, share the weight of carrying a thread forward, and make me smile every time their tags hit my inbox.

I could go on and on and on, but tl'dr? They're my rp unicorn and I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met someone I gel insanely well with. They're also a wonderful friend and an all around amazing person.

I am having the best PSLs right now and it's really revitalized my joy in RP. Even my game threads which had started to become a slog have been lifted to a new height of excitement.

I'm so glad to have found this second wind of sorts in RP joy!

I recently responded to a bunch of old tags I'd been procrastinating on, fearing no one would tag back because it had been months. To my great surprise, almost all of them did! I'm so grateful and this is a nice reminder to always respond even if you think the other person isn't interested anymore. There's always the chance they are!

Good for you! I recently got a tag to an old thread and a message from someone else who had been gone for a long time. Both made me really happy, even if the second person did not yet come back to our thread. It's just nice knowing they are alright.

I tagged someone unexpected in a meme with my cross-canon character whom I play from early points of her canon. She has a difficult personality there (not a villain exactly) and normally I like playing her developing into a nicer person. Now I realized that this new CR has a potential of turning her into something else. I'm really excited about it. I know meme threads don't always last very long but so far so good.

It’s been years since I last rped, but I’ve been having so much fun getting back into it! I’m planning on apping into a game soon, and I’m really looking forward to it.
