Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I was wondering how welcoming are players here to anime/manga characters? The test drive seems skewed towards LA, but I hope people are open to crossing mediums...

i play an la and as long as your character isn't underaged, i'm here for it. gimme all you got!

as someone who plays from anime here i find it really difficult. most usually don't tag my character and when i tag them the cr often doesnt go anywhere

this isn't all of them obviously! but it's definitely harder and my LA character has a much easier time

i can't say there's no medium divide. i have an easier time getting cr with my la character than drawn medium. there are still plenty of people who will happily do cross canon and cross medium cr.

so it may be a little harder at first until you find your niche. it's fun enough imo that it's worth the extra effort at the outset.
