This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

honestly hes really not all that different from any other smug

if youve spoken to one smug villager youve got a handle on all of them for the most part, aside from little differences that you can look up yourself like hobbies and style

well that is unfortunate that i have not a single smug type on my entire island right now. i'll have to go island hopping next time someone moves out.

i have so many pop-star wannabes. i can't hate them.

is there like...a game script or text dump somewhere? i did a fast google for it earlier and couldn't find anything clearly organized by villager personality type.

Fun fact, you have a better chance of getting a personality type you don't have from the campsite than from island hopping! So if you can wait a bit (or time travel) for someone you want, it's easier to save your NMT.

iirc they're smug about 90% of the time so there's a slight chance of getting something different.

My testing (from shameless Raymond hunting via campsite) was about 60-80% smug and the rest the other 7 types. Depends a lot on RNG because I'd have stretches of like 10 smugs in a row and then get like 3 randos.
