i used up 100k in mile tickets looking for a cat. any cat

are you guys having better villager hunt luck?

I blew through nearly 30 tickets trying to get a cat, or at least a villager on my most-wanted list, and didn't find either. I ended up grabbing Judy because I knew someone else would want her down the road.

took me about 15 tries before i hit my first cat, any cat

then i found another after about 5

i haven't seen a single mouse

I was reading that one of the first thing the island picks is animal type & goes from there. There's a lot of cats, that's part of why they're so hard to find, bc there's a much larger pool to randomize from.

I've gotten Raymond twice and sold him once. Gotten Tom, Rosie, and Lolly via campers and islands as well as a handful of other cats.

Camper method works best if you're targeting a specific person because you can boot all types that match theirs and then campers have approximately a 60% rate of spawning in the type you're missing. Only downside is it requires TT.

I desperately want a sheep (don't judge me) but am having trouble deciding which of my current villagers I should kick to the curb for open space. Even the ones I don't particularly like, I'm attached to.

I would also love a Lucky, ngl.

I have Vesta and Lucky! I love them both to pieces.

I just got him as a valuable placeholder while looking for a snooty since I don't have one, and I fell in love with him.

I kicked one of my original villagers out today so he'll be gone after tomorrow. I'm really wanting new faces but it'll be so weird to not see him anymore.

meanwhile the one villager I really want gone is still loafing around even though I've been ignoring them for two weeks lol

lucky is so cute but he's gotta go because i want a cat town. i will miss him so much

I'm going to have an empty spot the day after tomorrow. I'd be happy to take Lucky if you haven't solidified his exit yet.

i'm not parting with him just yet, anon. he'll be the last to go. i have 4 other villagers to get rid of first

$70? holy shit anon, you got majorly ripped off. it costs $7 to get a pack of NFC tags online and two seconds with a free app to make them. anyone with an Android phone can do it. you're paying $60 for a plastic coin case worth a few cents.

if anyone wants to make amiibos themselves, follow this guide. it's so easy. please don't spend more than $10 on this shit.

actually there are now iOS apps that can do it too, the guide linked above has details. so you can spoof amiibos with an iPhone as well! there's also a way of doing it with a PC though idk how well it works.

I'm not seeing an iphone way beyond a beta testing one that requires you to jailbreak your phone? Where specifically are you seeing this?

a friend of mine got an extra frobert amiibo card and gave me it. so fucking hyped.

i would sell my soul to get rasher, diva, pashmina, or phil (best boy!) on my island. sadly, you can't trade souls for villagers. should've gotten their amiibo cards pre-pandemic.

and before anyone suggests it: i don't have an android, i can't make fake amiibo cards. :(
