Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

I thought I remembered there being an old game named Tabula Rasa before, but I just went to look for it and it turns out it was a Buffy LJ game from 2005... now I really feel old. I don't think anyone is going to be that confused since it's been years and it's not really a fandom-specific name, though.

I'm a sucker for simple names like that, so thank you!

there was another tabula rasa around long ago and it was panfandom iirc! the-blank-slate i think? i was never in it but friends of mine were (jesus i feel old) and the concepts were totally different

Oh, so there was! But you're right, the concepts are totally different and it was quite a long time ago, so it's unlikely there'll be much confusion.

We're glad you like it! There's 3 of us on the team now (and to think this was a comment made on a whim barely a week ago), and we're hard at work to make it happen. We'll have more news on the upcoming TDM soon!
