Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

there's an addon i use called "save image as png" to help combat the scourge of .webp files that exist these days. it won't work on gifs but it will on still images.

noscript (supplements adblock by clocking tracking and other invasive javascripts)

multi-account containers (alternative to ljjuggler i've gotten to liking)

nimbus (allows for more flexible screencap options)

frankerfaceZ and BTTV (for twitch)

hbomb's youtube censorship program (keeps the reactionary chuds out of my recs)

youtube nonstop (keeps youtube from interrupting playlists with welfare checks)

this is close to what i run (noscript is amazing once you get the hang of how to use permissions)

i also use privacy badger and greasemonkey, and another anon mentioned typio

the twitch ones are basically just a collection of a ton of quality of life improvements for twitch overall, some of which become obsolete as twitch updates, but they also actively update themselves with new things and experiment.

plus both allow access to emotes on certain channels you can't access otherwise (as a warning, this is how some channels get around certain twitch emote bans so uh... browse with caution)

chrome stuff besides the obvious that someone might find useful

plurk savior - for blacklisting stuff. i usually use it to avoid spoilers but recently reinstalled it when the covid conspiracy theories started running around.

plurk jailbreak - for better layout controls and stuff. i honestly don't know if this one even still works.

tampermonkey - specifically for some ao3 scripts: 'ao3 savior' & 'ao3 savior config' so you can blacklist things (like usernames if you wanted to pseudo block someone). 'AO3 Review + Last Chapter Shortcut + Kudos-sortable bookmarks' just adds a few tools to make things easy, like a floating comment box and things. 'AO3: Kudosed and seen history' marks the fics you've already read while browsing through the library.

reddit masstagger - leaves a label next to usernames that indicates if they're members of or post regularly on hate subs. gives you an idea of who's a troll and who's not tbh.
