for a while i was the only one who played this character, but recently i saw someone else had picked them up. their interpretation is very different from mine though - they play them as more self-deprecating and insecure than i do, and view the character's happy moments as them bottling up their pain. i'm decently confident in my own characterization and can cite plenty of canon to back it up, and i'd like to just do my thing while they do theirs and am not interested in which of us is 'better', and tbh part of this is isolation getting to me, but i still keep worrying that people will prefer their characterization and see mine as shallow.
