there are so many urban fantasy series that i really like that i'd love to explore in game format. anita blake (and all the aspects of outed monsters/hunters), kate daniels (shifting magic and tech waves and balancing between them - events could be around the shift from one phase to the other or something like that), mercy thompson and the fae/vampires/werewolves and "other" aspects that go beyond just normal european/germanic tales (including native american avatars), or the hollows series, with 'what happens when genetically modified tomatoes eradicate most of the human species and that leaves non-humans alive and unaffected, which points out there -are- non humans (and how every human is deathly phobic of tomatoes)' concept. so many of those books have amazing world building and wide ranges of groups to pick from and i would kill to have them made into games.
