i don't play from la canons but for me when i skim through top levels, obscure la characters are nearly impossible to differentiate from the popular ones i have no interest in

with animated canons i can usually tell at a glance by style when a character is from something new/old/rare/whatever. it's just easier and sometimes a unique art style will make me curious enough to tag
