rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

what was the recovery process like for you? do you feel like you have a normal relationship with food now? how long did that take?

it's taken a while, tbh, and I don't know if I'll ever have a truly normal relationship with food. I still have my bad days (sometimes weeks), but it's just a matter of trying not to let it control me like it once did and, for lack of a better way of putting it, maintaining a bit of ...perspective? it is difficult at times, I won't lie. I really do wish you the best of luck with the recovery process, though.

thanks for replying! and if you don't mind my asking, what do you mean by "bad days" - like, days when you don't eat? or when you find yourself thinking about it more than usual?

a mixture of both, really. some days it'll just be a case of calorie counting and thinking about it more, other days it'll be a case of restricting, but the former are more common than the latter.
