Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

if you're trying to hide your identity on a new account (just for the hell of it, really), how much of a tell do you think it would be if you used your own icons? I only have about half a set of other people's lying around, and the set I made a little while ago (for a friend, I didn't play this character at the time) is fairly well-used.

Depends on whether or not you advertised your icons. It's easier to pull off when you regularly post icons to an icon and/or fandom community, since a ton of people go to those communities to collect icons.

Credit your other account used for that character instead of your personal journal, so you look like someone who just went looking through other player's icons to find them.
