rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Japanese major, Chinese, semi-history nerd, RP zen, and just had goat cheese cheesecake.

What is your native language and how well do you speak either Japanese or Chinese?

Also how was the cheesecake?

I think native language would be English? It's the one I'm best at, but the 'native' label always confuses me. Anyway, my Chinese is pretty fluent, I can read/write well enough. My Japanese is passable at the moment though I still have a ways to go -- I can communicate beyond 'where is the bathroom' or whatever but I wouldn't call myself anywhere near fluent. ):

The cheesecake was weird. It had strawberry jam on it and tasted like cheesecake but the aftertaste was all goat cheese. I love goat cheese, but it was still odd.

Oops, I somehow read that as Chinese major, instead of being Chinese. Do you/have you ever lived in China? If so, which part?

Also which Chinese dialect do you speak? (Mandarin, Cantonese, something else?)

No worries! I used to live in Guangzhou when I was little. :) Thanks to that I spoke Cantonese when I was younger but it's mostly just Mandarin now.
