rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I hope this game is still under development, because it sounds rad.

it definitely is! here's a working premise:

Ambrosia. The nector of the gods. To the people of New Riven, it's an addictive and highly prized substance that can only be found in the Fae Realms. Ambrosia grants humans magical abilities novel to their dimension and leaves them in an intoxicated state. As ambrosia extraction increased, a moral outcry swept the nation. Thus, the government approved of a measure prohibiting all extradimensional business.

Yet there are still criminal enterprises dedicated to ambrosia extraction, underground organizations who exploit extradimensional magic for a quick buck. And, as it turns out, there's a growing market for exotic creatures - humans included - from other dimensions. An empire of shadows is built upon oppression, until one night, a group of thieves make a daring raid on the Black Cat speakeasy...

it's all subject to change, of course. i'm still working out the mechanics, but i'll likely drop by next month's post with my progress
