rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

the spider-man trailer's so cute

I'm so excited, I can't wait.I already stan Mysterio's fish bowl.

I'm also glad they avoided Endgame spoilers! (Aside from 'everyone gets unsnapped' but we could already guess that from the Spider-Man and Black Panther movie announcements.)

I'm horny for Jake Gyllenhaal and his weird line delivery so I'm excited.

i'm sort of leaning towards away from home taking place before infinity war, actually. if only because the only suit i saw spidey wear in the trailer was the first one he got from stark. not the nanite 'iron spider' one. that or 'this takes place in an alternate timeline where thanos never happened because peter never got the suit'.

its already been confirmed that far from home picks up very shortly after the end of endgame. (as in hours later). he wears three suits in the trailer, which yes, doesn’t seem to include iron spider. but given that marvel threw hulk in to the battle of wakanda in the infinity war trailer, that doesn’t mean a thing.

can't wait for dear player to get flooded with more boring Peter parkers

if you expect anything other than cookie cutter comic bullshit from an mcu/marvel char, you're fooling yourself. there'll be movie captain marvels. maybe a few nick furys. some mar-vels (or whoever tf jude law is playing). endgame will bring a new flood of clint bartons with angsty h/c backgrounds, and a new flood of all the same old same olds. don't think peter parker's the only one that's going to be flooding anything.
