Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

tumblr has had issues with their bot flagging posts as "nsfw" even when they aren't and forcing the post to be private. but i personally have not had this issue and very few of my tumblr rp partners have had issues with it. i would avoid using tags that include the term "nsfw" or "porn" as this might attract bots.

the best advice i can give you is when you make your character blog, include a rules page where you define a set of rules for the blog. include in it stuff about what you won't rp and who you won't rp with (such as fic-kin or certain ships or whatever). it's similar to a permissions post in dwrp. maybe look around at the rules pages of other rp blogs to get a better idea for what to include. it's also good to have a character info/about page for your rp blog.

then look in the rp tag of the canons you're interested in for rper self-promos. you can check out their blogs and see what they post about and who they're playing with. if you see someone posting a lot of sjw stuff or ooc stuff, avoid that player. if you find someone who posts mostly rp stuff and their writing is decent and they don't seem crazy, you can follow them or try reaching out to them in the pm system or inbox. once you start following other rpers and playing with them, you'll start seeing and attracting more rp blogs. unfortunately, you'll also start attracting porn bots that will like or reblog your stuff - i liberally block those.
