rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. This makes the anti-rape deer a really obvious case of projecting in hindsight. Milk's gotta be the most woke about ~gross~ kinks so no one realizes she lusts after an 11-year-old.

you can dislike a kink and say you dislike it without devoting random plurks to going on and on about how bad it is. the really hard denials though? they probably enjoy it.

For the most part. This still isn't Second tier. It's weird and a little creepy, but it's not disturbing so much as grossly hypocritical.

I'm probably going to drop for other reasons. I can admit this just makes it easier.

And I'm still pissed over not having a horror alternative.

i wanted a horror game to play in but i didn't join because milk is modding this one. i hate there's no alternative.

we were drowning in horror games for years so i'm pretty sure that's why we swung around to the sci-fi end of things. if you wait long enough we'll probably swing back, especially considering how vocal people are that they're sick of sci-fi now too.

fantasy always was and still is the most popular genre in dwrp, you can see it in game lists

people get the idea that it's sci-fi (or space to be more specific) or horror because those are usually the ones that have a very successful one that explodes and everyone talks about. there's also the fact the precisely because to fight off all the fantasy, interest plurks and games ideas are usually sci-fi or horror, but only one in like five comes to light and actually survives. so it feels like they're everywhere, but they aren't.

we need to kill this "i'm sick of space" idea, ffs. can anybody even name a space game going on right now besides drift fleet?

no, it's not. and it's kind of meh about whether or not it's a space game. people get brought to a station and then down to the planet, but so far, not much, if anything at all beyond tdm stuff takes place on the station.

i could've sworn someone said it closed! i must've confused it with another game. again, my bad.

forgot to add: the other reason why it feels like "horror" is everywhere it's because mods put "horror elements" on profiles/settings all the time just to cover their asses in case an event gets a bit creepy, but they aren't actual horror games
