Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

what would you do if someone who had beef with you in a previous game tried to join the one you're currently in as a castmate?

depends on severity of the beef and closeness of the castmate

if it's actual, significant beef, as in the person is a major wanker who might harm others besides me, alert the mods with any proof i have and list my concerns. if they listen, cool, if they don't, see below answer.

if it's just me being butthurt over them individually, build myself a bridge and get over it, because you can't stop every person you don't like from joining your game. if they app and get in, pm them and ask them not to tag/contact me. leave it at that and avoid them as best i can. life goes on.

Honestly even if it's a personal thing I'd probably still give the mods a heads up that a request for no tags or contact has been made. At minimum, it's good to have the mods in the loop so they don't put you two together in a plot. At worst, the mods will be in the loop if this escalates to something that the mods need to get involved in.

if it's beef that could at all end up affecting other people (e.g. a pattern of behavior that wasn't specific to me) i would drop the mods a line with evidence so they're aware.

otherwise, pm them and tell them not to tag me, let some closer friends know, keep things chill on my end so i can safely drag them through the mud if they try to start shit.

I usually pretend to have forgotten about the beef. Who are you again? I presume if they’ve apped as a castmate, they’ve probably forgotten who you are, too.

Obviously if it’s something serious such as harassment or bullying that’s a different issue. But if they got mad at me years ago because of something stupid? Sorry, I rp a lot of characters in a lot of games. I don’t have time to remember.
