Understandable but honestly if you write about how my character is making yours feel, maybe get in some intimate hair stroking or hand-holding, guide their head if they need it, some dialogue maybe... you’ll be fine. Don’t just write what he’s feeling, write how he’s feeling. My favorite stuff is when there’s eye contact, or he touches her cheek while watching. Little touches. Once I had someone have their character detail what he wanted to do to her (but couldn’t because they were having a quickie in a public space). Dirty talk is never a bad idea, either.

I’m sure you’re already fine though, because you’re one step ahead of those people who don’t even care if they’re engaging or not.
