An attempt still should be made to reach out to other players since this is a game and we do all play here. We’re a community of players, and if the most want something a little lighter in a game whose description doesn’t involve elements of horror or tradegy, that’s reasonable.

Anyway, isn’t the fallout of this event a bad end in its own way? The characters responsible seem like they’re only doubling down on their choices in their threads with no development, there’s nothing stopping them from going at it again or recruiting someone else who is like-minded, even some hero-types joined in and helped defend one of them who was responsible, now the natives distrust the otherworlders so that’s a source of tension, and the arehtei are being shut in. Having played a villian character before, this is a best “bad end” outcome you can bring with a game that’s also packed with heroes. In terms of a bad outcome, this is delightful.

Doesn’t mean I can’t also symapthize with the people who dislike the change in tone. C’mon.
