the UI gets a update with part two, but the global version probably isn't going to be getting it for at least a year. it doesn't really change anything aside from visuals, but I don't know what specific issues and frustations you're having and if I can tell you if it gets better or not (for one thing, JP finally got a back button after nearly 3 years, US might get it sooner since we do receive QOL upgrades faster).
