is it just me or is Aniplex's translation of the Guda Guda comics kind of incomprehensible? the way the characters talk feels stilted, unnatural, and I've noticed a few grammatical errors (ex. "I am getting exciting about guessing the True Names").

you're not the only one. the phrasing seems to get worse with every chapter and they're doing a really bad job at explaining the little references they keep putting in. i didn't know what lotgh was until someone told me.

i mean i'm really happy that this probably means guda2 soon but man... i'm just hoping the event itself has better quality translations than the comics.

I want to believe the reason the Guda Guda comics' translation is so bad is because the localization team is too busy polishing up the localization for the Guda Guda event, and Aniplex didn't give them enough time to fix the comics' localization before publishing.

...R-Right? I'd be really disappointed to see Nobbu and Okita thrown under the bus because of a poor localization.

it's a silly meme comic, the quality of its translation was never going to be top priority. the actual game, even while it has occasional mistakes, is a lot better

but all in all it isn't anything worth getting upset about
