1) mafia boss goes to take a hit out personally, and finds the son of his victim interrupting. he's intrigued by some kind of skill he has (or appearance) and the father sees this and offers his son up in exchange for his debt and life. the boss accepts, and takes the son and uses him as a trophy bf/his toy to use.
over time the boss gets fond of the son and courts him a little and the son starts to be more involved in the mafia, maybe even eventually killing his father.
