Actually, I've been thinking about reopening the game one last time, since I closed it due to multiple personal issues I was having then.

I still have what I plotted out for the game around, and I want to give it one more shot and keep going, now that those issues are done with and the afforseeable future is pretty clear, and damn do I miss my horror games.

Tbh: I wasn't a huge mystery fan before I picked up the series. It's that good. The tone of the series goes between serious and comedic, and all the little details about Rome and life in the time period are SO right. The female characters also get to do a lot of cool shit and have good personalities which is important to me.

Ruth Downie's ancient Rome mystery novels starting with Medicus are pretty great, too! Have not read the Didius Falco books but am going to have to pick them up -- they sound just my speed.

Have you read the Benjamin January novels? Especially the first eight or so? Absolutely brilliant books, highly recommended. The setting is 1830s New Orleans, the hometown of the protagonist, where he returns after his wife's tragic death in Paris of cholera.

I really like the one I'm in but it's set in the future and it's hitting endgame soon. I'd really like to see someone do one like CnC set in a more modern superhero setting. MoM's alternate history thing doesn't interest me.

See, now these are details that should be mentioned, not people crying because they don't know how to use their imagination and acting like they've never played with toys before.

Are there any games out there with bi-monthly (or similar) activity checks? I'm great at tagging, but I find that most people are slow so I have to actually worry about it. I like to not keep track because I always pass the ACs.

I don't have a problem with a slow cast at all, I just don't want to stress about AC is all! Though I am currently in a game with AC that isn't quite the easiest, though certainly not difficult.

I would really, really like to play some Solas/F!Trevelyan, particularly of the mage flavour. I'm most interested in a PSL or series of threads set during Inquisition or DLC content (post is fine too) exploring the dynamics of the relationship, from the typical unhealthy aspects to what it means for humans and elves to have a thing for each other in Thedas. Preferably smut wouldn't be involved, but I'm up willing to talk about it.

Alternatively I have a Trevelyan lying around too if someone wanted to play Solas; I'm comfortable with both.

LOST meets Gilligan’s Island. Maybe with a dash of Don’t Starve. The premise isn’t complicated but it’s rich with content. That’s probably where you’re getting overwhelmed. Ask your friends in the game too.
