Looking to play out some Soldier 76/Reaper, ideally starting from their days back in the soldier enhancement program. I'm also down to discuss AUs if you have any in mind. In either case, I'd love slow burn with the two of them having their differences at first before coming to respect each other and so on.

I'm leaning towards playing Jack, but I'd honestly be happy to pick up either. Shoot a PM here if you're interested!

oh wow, its been forever since I watched that show! I'm sorry I don't have anyone to offer but mad props for reviving the series and I hope you find the Shuten (or Touma or Seiji (or all of them!)) you're looking for.

it'd be nice to have canon same sex romance in persona, but it's not going to be a huge victory for lgbt japan like, say, a canon same sex couple in a popular kid's cartoon or a tv drama that everyone watches.

NATSUME YUUJINCHOU (natsume's book of friends)

there's a long running manga and an anime with multiple seasons, focused on a young man named natsume who has very strong spiritual powers and an old family relationship with a frillion yokai in his area. it's cute, charming, and extreeemely bittersweet

when i want to see a new plurk meme, i start it. it doesn't require anoncomm brainstorming.

I'm pretty good! Just trying to start up a workout routine, mostly just jogging and stretching atm but looking into classes and other things. I have good tags, progress in cleaning my house and good things to read and play in my off time.

Could do without my period like half of this thread, but that's really the worst complaint I have atm.

among my own friends? question memes, memes about characters habits or attributes, etc. people on my timeline copy them if they want.

plurk memes are seriously easy, anon. do you feel like talking about your characters' parents, taste in music, favorite booze, ideal pets, etc? put [meme] in front of it and state the topic, or make a paste of questions and ask friends to answer. people will respond, and you'll have fun.

if you need inspiration, you can google things like "rp ask memes" or "tumblr rp memes" and borrow those, too. if no one on your plurk is doing memes, search "meme" on plurk and copy a stranger's. if it's an idea that grabs other people, other people will grab it in turn. low effort high reward.

there's also the reality that any production team who could make such dumb casting decisions (along with that weird cgi yellowface thing that got floated) probably doesn't have any better judgment when it comes to everything else about making a good and entertaining movie

consider just how many comedy movies that involve 'violent physical abuse as a source of humor' and are targeted straight at adults have been made right here in the usa going back to at least the 1920s. there are lots of adults who enjoy slapstick humor. there are also lots of mainstream hollywood movies that have humor in between the serious bits.

Fuck off. You can romance your teacher and a woman who's likely in her early 30's for god's sake, as well as a girl who is 14 years old. Asking for one gay romantic option isn't unreasonable given your options already.

There's politics in the industry to be considered, but hoping for change in the future shouldn't be written off of fujos whining.

Besides, even if they do add gay/lesbian options (if they have female protags) they'll make way more money. The anime industry has already discovered that fujo money is a powerful thing.

sure, but i think people often forget there are already different 'spheres' of rp over here. we, rpanons and all the games that show up here are part of a different sort of community than sws and countless games that cater to 'those' types of rpers.

if lj rpers all finally migrate over here they'll most likely fall into that category. the 'unseen' part of 'our' area of rp.
