I think we could overall use to lower our standards just a tiny bit. Screw this whole more words equals better quality for apps and excessive nutpicking of people's apps and playing. I think many of us would agree that we'd rather play with someone who is active and fun to thread with over someone perfectly IC. We'd ideally love all three, but the first two are definitely going to be a lot more important unless the character is completely unrecognizable from their canon.

I'd also like to see this whole taboo against critting activity levels go away. Unless a player is telling another player to skip out on things like work or school for RP, there should be no issue telling someone that maybe they shouldn't app to another game or maybe they really just don't have the time and drive for games right now.

I think overall, we should just stop enabling behaviors we don't want to see in DWRP. Still be polite and respectful to each other because in the end we're here for fun, but we shouldn't be enabling shitty behaviors from each other.

Also I'd like to see a lot more separation between RP and RL. I'd like to see personal journals come into use again and that be where we talk about RL stuff and keep plurk to RP related plotting and chatting only.

Flake or not, youkisoba is That Konoka and, unsurprisingly, doesn't have a grasp on basic canon, much less any decent characterization. Would not go near, do not recommend.

i also rp on discord and the way we do it is, you make a server for it and the channels are your threads. you can even use icons if you're doing actionspam style, since discord lets you upload an image and send a message in the same IM.

A single dad and his teenage daughter are super close, bordering on inappropriately so. The dad starts dating again, and the daughter gets super jealous. So she starts "accidentally" sending him dirty texts and pics, touching herself when she knows he's looking, etc., trying to seduce him.

Eventually it gets to him, and they have crazy sex. Bonus points if they start doing things outside their house and get progressively more risky and develop.

Kinks: Incest, dirty pics/videos, public sex, age difference, oral, anal, dirty talk, clothed sex, short refractory periods, fingering, mutual masturbation. Open to plenty more, just no bathroom kinks or vore.

Also up to doing this as a mother/son pairing. Would prefer to play the daughter/son, but could also play the father. LA characters only, please. Drop a sock.

1. Oh, I was actually talking about panfandom dressing rooms. I think they could work, but the notable ones that've been started within the last few years have all had some major mod fuckups right out of the gate.

2. A catch-all might work, but again I think it'll end up being only the biggest fandoms that generate any discussion.

3. In this situation, it wouldn't be for people that already have pre-made OCs who aren't playing them as everyone would be creating a new OC that is native to the game world instead of transplanting an existing OC into a new world jamjar style. I mean, I guess you could adapt an existing OC, but there'd be limitations you'd have to play within instead of being able to say "my character has amazing powers and is the most important person ever and they're half demon, half angel, half vampire" which I think is what brings out a lot of the anti-OC stigma.

You're right about needing a very engaging worldbuild, though. Panfandoms can get by on generic spooky jamjar and SoL premises but OC-only worlds need to be a bit more engaging, mostly to inspire character creation. I do think games like that (or more AU games) would be a nice, fresh change of pace, though. I'm personally pretty burnt out on apping to jamjars and playing out the very formulaic introductory months before I can really start getting good CR and get involved in plots. I don't mind being an LCW when the ball starts rolling, but given the fact that you can only get 1-2 threads per month with most characters these days, that's likely a good 3+ months you're going to spend having nothing but shallow acquaintance-level CR (unless you have an in-game friend to plot with who wants to move that cross-canon CR along faster).

Do you have any other criteria? There aren't a lot of castmates out there for you these days, so other than that you pretty much have your pick of games.

We're never going to draw fandom back from tumblr because dw is missing some standard social media features people are used to. If there were site-wide tags and image posts we might have a shot.

there's one anon who is desperate to fuck that particular chicken and keeps on doing sly namedrops to put that name at the front of everyone's mind, but they have no deets. best bet is to ignore them unless someone brings something real.

M/M bastinado/foot torture etc as a consensual BDSM thing or as a non-consensual punishment.

A character lands himself in some trouble (with his boyfriend/dom/teacher/boss/porn setting authority figure) and is sentenced to having the soles of his feet caned/belted/roasted. Whatever works so long as it's not enough to draw blood or cause permanent damage.

I'm looking to play either side and have a few characters in mind for either role. I'm only really looking to play as and against canon characters from drawn canons though. Leave a sock if you're interested!
