the events are run through signups and there's usually a decent mix of low and higher involvement things to choose from to do! whether you want to participate in those events at all is dependent on how involved with the plot you want to be, none of them are really necessary, but it is a large part of the appeal of the game. the only thing you really need to do is sign up, and how much you want to actually thread out event things depends on you also.

yup! there are usually several slots still open for missions even when sign-ups close, and i like to think everyone in the game is pretty conscientious about not ~hogging~ the important plots every month (or that's what i've noticed, imo, personally i know i always try to hold back to give newer people esp a chance at some of the more intense plots). you totally don't have to participate in the bigger plots if you don't want to and no one will judge you for it or w/e.

everyone i've talked to is rly friendly, too. def give it a shot, if you're interested!

The plot and player involvement in it is definitely the major appeal, I'd just worry about falling behind in things. But I am considering it!

I have an issue with my index toe on my right foot in that it grows weird. So I take great satisfaction in pulling it out. The whole thing. It takes a bit of twisting and it sure makes my eyes water, but once it's out it's just relief. Sore to walk on for 2 days but after that it's perfection until it grows again, then repeat.

and, at least in my experience, rvb casts are always pretty cliquish. yours might not be and I really hope they aren't, but every game that I've been in where the rvb cast gets over three people, they ignore everybody else for stupid cast shenanigans

and it's going to stay 1/5th of the game if no one else joins in. this might come as a surprise to you, but the percentage of that cast in the game will drop if more chars join in.

not familiar with rvb or other rvb casts out there, but here they've been tagging around just fine. they're the only capped cast but not the only biggish one, and everyone seems to tag out.

no, you're right. i'm a da (probably should've specified that) and not in the game. i think it's pretty fair to have a certain percentage of the game be within a certain crew! i also think it's really stupid to respond to someone expressing concerns about how 1/5th of the game is in a certain crew by saying, "six characters are 'so many' for you? wow."

technically that's even higher, actually, since 30 is the game cap and you're below that, right?

also, if you wanted an idea of what to tell that person, it should've been something like

"i know that's a large chunk of the game but they're actually really inclusive and tag around. tbh, we're hoping for some new blood to mix things up and have more canons represented."

that anon wasn't me either. no real arguments for us then? if someone doesn't like halo or rvb for some reason they're free to, just a bit odd to swing into a thread for a game they're not in to talk trash about it. the "six characters are too many" comment might've been rude but so was the initial comment about saying they're dismissing the game just because of how much they hate those canons specifically.
