I just realized it's ahalpuh and not alphuh.

I heard it was kinda cliquey and hard to get traction in unless you play pretty white dicks, but people say that about literally every game so ymmv.

I was tempted, but that means playing a literal truck, and also making him even fucking sadder. And the gaps in his memory are so wide now it'd be quite a challenge to play him.

I'm curious: do they keep the preferred texture as you put them through the wash or do you have to keep nicking them to make sure you have backups for when the others wear out?

You're not going to get their parents' money through someone's will, come on.

i don't know what bugchasing is but i'm intrigued

oh fuck, prepare for textwalls of my weird habits. and this isn't even all of them!

* i wash my hands a lot. i don't like to touch the floor/ground unless i know it's been cleaned that day and nobody's walked on that spot. i regularly wipe down my electronics, cards, etc. with one of those clorox wipes.

* i talk to myself sometimes, not in a crazy way though. like i might mumble to myself about how i have to do laundry, do the dishes, whatever, as kind of a reminder to myself. i also talk to objects. i might scold my laptop if it starts lagging, tell objects that might fall to "stay!" and do a pose kind of like http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mazbz3iVjD1rdlycxo1_400.jpg , or sarcastically say "thanks, gravity!" if something falls.

* i also talk to animals a lot and i might wave at them or something like that, even if it's a stray cat. i talk to my pet a lot and tell her about how my day went, ask her how she's doing even though she can't talk to me, always tell her good-bye before i leave and usually i'll give her a kiss unless she's sleeping. i don't "talk" for her in a goofy voice though, my dad does though.

i make sure to tell all the cute animals i see that they're a very pretty girl/handsome boy and sometimes make kissy-noises at them. dog owners in my area probably think i'm weird when i ask to pet their dog and say things like "you're such a tough, handsome boy! i bet you do a great job of protecting your mom from those squirrels!" i have to keep myself from wanting to "kiss" strangers' animals. i won't actually kiss them, but i'll kiss the air a few inches away from their face and pull my head back if they try to lick my mouth, lol. i feel weird about kissing the heads of pets whose owners i don't know.

* i have problems with flaky skin so i might absent-mindedly pull off the flakes. if i'm especially bored, i'll put the bigger flakes on my table and try to see what the biggest flake i can get is. after that, i dispose of them, i don't keep weird collections. if i can't pull the skin off on my own, i use nail clippers to cut it off.

* i pick my nose multiple times a day because i like my nostrils to be "clear." nosebleeds aren't a problem for me, i only get them when it's really cold and dry. last time i had a nosebleed was over 5 years ago iirc.

* i also have some other skin-picking issues like biting or picking my lips and eating it but nothing so bad that i'm covered in scars or anything. definitely not a scab-picker. i used to be a nail-biter but now i've evolved to using nail clippers to keep my nails short and cutting off cuticles that don't look "right." when my fingernails get too long, it feels like they get ingrown and i hate it, so i have to constantly cut them. my toenails are fine though.

* i'm weirdly polite and do that fist-over-mouth thing that people do when they clear their throat, but also with things like yawning. for coughing/sneezing, i do it into my inner elbow. sometimes if i'm about to yawn and i'm talking to somebody, i'll turn away and jokingly say "don't look at me, i'm yawning!" since they're so contagious.

* if i'm reading a huge paragraph/text-wall, i have to select some text (on electronics) or use some kind of bookmark to keep my place (physical objects) so i don't lose my place. otherwise i might read line 15, then accidentally read line 15 again and get confused.

* i typically don't like my ice cream too cold. if it's in a bowl, i'll stick it in the microwave to melt it a little bit if possible, or wait for it to melt a little if i can't nuke it. if it's in a cone or on a stick, idgaf.

* i'm weird about numbers. for volume, i like it to be either an even number or in increments of 5. so 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, and 30 are fine. on the microwave, i try to put in things like 22, 33, 2:22, or 3:33 if i don't have to put it in for a certain number of minutes. if it's an option, i'll press the "add 30/60 seconds" button. the brightness settings on my laptop don't have numbers so that doesn't bother me.

* i hate the feeling of body and facial hair (excluding eyebrows and head hair), it seems so unclean. i try to shave anywhere i can reach that seems too "hairy" except for fingers, palms, around my scalp, and the bottom of my feet. i don't do it during every shower though, maybe once or twice a week. i'd never date somebody with a hairy chest/back if they wanted to be shirtless around me or wanted me to touch their hairy areas unless they were willing to shave first. i'm not anal about arm and leg hair on other people though. most facial hairstyles are a no-go but sometimes i'll allow it depending on the style/feel of it. as for genitals, i wouldn't do oral unless they shaved first. as for sex, idgaf as long as it's not a jungle down there.

* if i'm sitting in a chair, i seem most comfortable when i'm crossing my legs, unless there's not enough room for me to do that.

* i hate wearing shoes. i take them off if i'm going to be sitting in one spot for a while, like at work or in a waiting room. if i'm not sitting with my legs crossed, i rest my feet on top of my shoes.

* fuck pants too. once i get home, they're coming right off unless it's really cold. shorts and boxers all the way, man.

* sometimes when i'm not actively typing, i might drum my fingers on my keyboard if i'm listening to music or thinking of a song.

* one time when i was younger, one of my cousins did a terrible job helping out with dishes so i used a cup that was still dirty and my drink was nasty. i got so grossed out that i sniff clean-looking dishes before i use them now, to verify that they're clean enough. sometimes i smell other objects before i touch them, like food/drinks before i eat/drink them or clothes if i don't know if they're clean.

* i'm very bad with names if you're somebody that i don't talk to regularly, so i might use your name more than other people would, but not enough to look weird. i might say "hey sam" instead of "hey" or "i hope you feel better soon, sam" instead of "i hope you feel better soon."

Plus it's oddly fun.

when you use glue, do you like peeling the dry glue off your skin like you're a reptile shedding your skin?

Anybody else been having trouble getting to dear_player? That site, specifically, keeps timing out when I can get to anything else on Dreamwidth fine.

i stick bits of cloth into my ears because i like how it feels. i'll walk around the house with small balls of it in.

whenever i'm watching a timer of some kind that counts by seconds (either counting up or counting down), i get stuck on this particular pattern that i have to watch the numbers in. i didn't realize how complicated this was to explain until i started trying to figure out how to describe it just now, but if you picture the numbers 0-10 on a number line, i need to watch until i get to the "mirror image" of whatever number i started on. so if it's counting down and i look at it when it reads 8, i need to watch until it gets down to 2, because 8 is two away from ten and 2 is two away from zero. if it's counting up and i look at when it reads 4, i need to watch until it gets up to 6, because 4 is four away from zero and 6 is four away from ten. this holds up for bigger numbers too, so i'd watch from 28 to 22 counting down and 24 to 26 counting up, 31 to 39 counting up, 57 to 53 counting down, etc.

i don't do it to my lips but i have sores and scabs on my scalp because i can't stop digging into the skin and picking it off

That's actually a good way to handle blackheads on your nose.

I feel this way and RP isn't my primary social life. I just don't see a difference in my rl friends and my rp ones in that they are all people I care about and want in my life. Sure, some of them are people I do rl things with and some are people I've never met, but if I talk to someone regularly, they are my friend regardless of proximity.
