Got this one from an old username suggestions thread. I give anon all of my thanks, it still makes me laugh.

This is the first username I've picked that I thought was nice and tidy without being too plain. It's in reference to his aiming to "untangle" people's issues via his mind-reading, occasionally referring to it/describing it with according imagery. (I 'spose it also doubles as a reference to one quick little banter in which he mentions his shoelaces keep coming undone - "Can you talk to them? They won't listen to me!")

no, it really isn't. it's about on par with persona 3's. persona 4 mostly did better at natural-sounding sentences than this game, and etrian odyssey and catherine have stellar localizations (even if EO suffers from text limits for some names).

i'm more concerned about mishandling that character and inconsistent/mistranslated sentences and phrases, though. looking at the fandom's reactions as people go through the game, i've noticed some misunderstandings cropping up that definitely have to do with the localization messing up some key details, or mistranslating some sentences in ways that leave out important details/add details that are contradictory to the rest of the scene or a connected scene/miss important wordplay/change the sentence in such a way that it comes across completely differently/mess up explanations for some things.

it's still not too much of a problem overall, but it's prevalent enough in important scenes that it makes the localization far less than ideal, especially combined with the stilted phrasing problem.

(close runner-up is sexorcism, which is newer and therefore hasn't had as much time to become my favorite, but is, frankly, just a really good pun.)

as someone who grew up thinking fett was cool as shit

he's only 'cool' because we as kids had an imagination and all we needed to latch onto was his character design and his profession. no personality or actual accomplishments (which we waved off as 'mysterious') so we filled in the blanks. The only cool thing actually shown was that he knew Han was hiding the falcon on the star destroyer and intended to escape in the jettisoned garbage.

poe's got "being witty while tortured" and "ace pilot" which puts him on par with fett. they're both characters that have no reason for people to latch onto but do.

again coming from someone who has a fanboner for fett for about 20 years.

The best advice I can give you is to seek out an attorney in your area who specializes in debt. The laws on this vary too widely from state to state and even can vary within the state depending on county or city you live in. A local attorney is going to best be able to explain your options and what can happen.

I say this because if you let a debt go unpaid too long, it can turn into a lawsuit. Depending on where you live, a suit can result in wage garnishment, frozen bank accounts, assets being seized, etc. So you really want to know what applies to you and what does not since a lot of that can depend on your situation and your state. A good attorney will be able to explain your options in terms you can understand and advise what may be the best path for you to take. In the end it is your choice, but I found a lawyer was very helpful.
