not so much a suggestion but when i mention that i'm deaf people automatically assume i must know their third cousin's second wife who is also deaf! like maybe they don't assume I know them but uh... why bring it up at all?? i don't get it...

i could get it if i was like "help i am deaf idk what to do" "oh i'll put you in touch with my second cousin jimmy, he knows a deaf person"
