tbh i'm not a fan of tumblr as a whole either but i'm on it to hoard pretty fanart and overanalyze fictional characters, which is the reason i joined lj in the first place lmao

all my current rp partners are from there. tumblr rpers are surprisingly amenable to using places that aren't tumblr (probably because everyone's in agreement that the site is garbage), so we rp over email and skype

i can't help you with games or w/e because i never bothered, but if rp partners are what you want, you have to be prepared to basically scout people whose writing styles and character interpretations match up with yours, and not necessarily trawl through rp blogs themselves. it's definitely and effort but so far i'm finding it worth it

to be more clear, everyone i rp with is also a fic writer so that's how we kind of assessed each other's skill level and were like "hey let's do a thing"

at least people aren't taking on-the-toilet-selfies (yet).

Not unless they're replying to all my zesty, meaty tags with "ok" or some shit. Some characters are reticent. Some writers can get a lot across in a few words. And having been on the other side of the equation where there simply wasn't anything else to say, it's a silly thing to worry about. Keep the thread moving, give your partner something to play off of, and it should all be good.

1) Arranged marriage. Would like to play female in M/F pairing where the M is maybe kind of a brute/bad guy. Building relationship over time is good, but one-shot wedding night is totally fine too.

2) Royalty breeding/impregnation: can be done with or without previous kink. A prince/king/emperor needs an heir and has to fuck his spouse or harem member night after night until his seed takes. Can play either M or F in this scene. Looking for multiple scenes where a relationship or negative CR develops over time.

3) Interrogation by fucking, M/F. A female criminal has been caught and one or more male cops interrogate her while fucking her. She isn't allowed to cum until she confesses. Bonus points for M/M/F scenario where the cops are in a relationship and get off on watching each other fuck the criminal or make out while it happens. Prefer to play F, can play M.

4) Sacrificial virgin, M/F. A virgin woman lays out on an altar and a chosen man fucks her in the place of a god while the community watches. Prefer to play M with ulterior motives, would play nice M or F.

ISLAND is definitely coming over. It's all ages and with an anime coming which will help create interest, it's only a matter of time.

I was hopeful that maybe we'd see Luckydog1 licensed but the translator wants to finish their translation first.

Honestly, I don't mind if introspection gets ignored. That's mostly there for flavor; unless I'm threading with a psychic I don't expect them to directly respond to my introspection.

In that example I'd probably let my character's paranoia ramp up as the other character responds all obliviously and cheerfully while he's freaking out.

Physical objects going missing, or actions that don't make any sense in response to my character's actions, are what really break me out of the flow of the scene. I've sometimes actually PMed people to fix it. (I try not to be that anal if I can avoid it but there are times.) Likely in a situation like my example I'd just avoid mentioning the teacup myself in my next tag and hope that they said something about her holding it or drinking tea in their next one.

once in a while's no big deal, but some people are really bad about keeping props and setting in mind for a scene.

imho the layout you have is a little difficult. i know tumblr layouts are hard, but if you have a little css skill, maybe try increasing the font sizes at least?

it's not unnavigable as is though, just a suggestion
