i've been playing a ton of otp stuff

i've been looking for the other half of this otp for years

you don't do connecting the dots well, do you? the whole comparison with religion came because hard facts were given to you and you ignored them. your idea of what facts are seems to be somewhat disconnected from reality. i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but suppressing the correlative doesn't lend your argument any more weight.

you know, as upset as you are now i kind of envy you in a way. dwrp is dying to me, but for you and people like you who are getting all your needs filled through eudio or tfln or whatever, it's not dying. you folks have what you want, and yeah, i'm anon enough to admit i'm jealous. so you can walk away with that triumph, anon. even if i "won", you're still the one getting what you want out of dwrp.

there's no need to be upset, anon. you believe one thing and i believe another. that's just the problem with putting two humans in a room together. and you know, for what it's worth, i do hope that i'm wrong and you're right. i mean, don't get me wrong, i would sooner see dwrp consumed by maggots than see it as an sol paradise, but i do hope you're right about all the missing people actually still being around and just in museboxes. maybe you'll make the one true game and they'll all come back. and if they do, i'll come back here and pledge my sword to you now and for all nights to come. i just don't see it as happening, that's all

memebells to eudio is a more apt comparison than you want to admit, and certainly a much better comparison than memebells to bakerstreet. the only thing memebells has in common with bakerstreet is that they're both meme comms, with eudio they were both alive and active for roughly the same time span (yes memebells has gotten very irregular activity over the past three years from lj remnants but all of it combined doesn't even add up to a tenth of its activity during that one year). they're both "niche" comms (memes weren't popular yet and sol is still not widely popular). you just want to compare memebells to bakerstreet because it's such an obvious boost to your "dwrp isn't dying!" argument. never mind that bakerstreet has been active and the main hub of all of dwrp for five whole years while memebells had one year as a niche comm and then sad little pokes for 4 years because the mods didn't have the courtesy to close the comm for the sake of making the data as irrefutable as possible
