That's pretty much my favourite part of AUs. Some characters backstories are easier to adapt to be as true to canon as possible, and others are more challenging, but figuring out that challenge is a big part of the fun.

I also enjoy not being tied down by canon love interests (because either I don't ship it, or because the other character isn't in game) and being able to build CR with my castmates from scratch (or working out how they fit into each other's backstories) is also tons of fun.

this stuff worked really well for my hormonal acne. i'm someone who's had it so bad that i had to use accutane in the past. i still use proactiv on and off and haven't had to use this stuff in awhile, but while i was using it i noticed a huge difference. don't know if it will work for you, but all the other natural/gentle treatments like witchhazel did shit-all for me.

So I kinda fell into RWBY hell recently, and I was wondering, does anyone know if there is anywhere you can find icons for it, or should I make them myself? I'm fine with doing that, but sometimes laziness ya know? lol

When the above anon talks about major houses where players can't be the heads of those, does that mean the Lord Paramounts or does that include any lords listed on the Houses page? I just assumed only the characters established on the NPCs page were off limits.

on a semi-related note, can i bitch for a minute about people who arbitrarily claim to have rare-ass illnesses you know they don't have

like, there's someone i follow who claims they "thought they were dead for a year" because their friends "isolated" them. there's only been like two reported cases of that particular mental illness, and the people who had it were also experiencing other forms of severe psychosis aside from that. you didn't seriously "think you were dead for a year", you're just a fucking melodramatic, lying attention whore.

this is called rosacea. i have it too, although it sounds like my case is a lot milder. they sell over-the-counter stuff to help with it, with which you will find varying success. unfortunately, there's no cure, but there are some other management options you'll find with a doctor. either way it may be worth researching and seeing what you can do to help it. rosacea has a lot of triggers you might be able to avoid, too. they're basically the same things that would make a normal person flush like heat, sun, emotions, weather, etc.

fade rift

it comes down to a really unfortunate choice for release date. i don't know how aware gearbox was of overwatch, but all the big promos for OW dropped right when battleborn was released (notably the beta), and now OW is dropping in less than a week.

it makes me sad because even though i'm not that interested in battleborn, i know gearbox was and still is really, really hopeful about it. from what i've heard them say they really poured their hearts into it and the sad thing is i don't know if it's going to get a fraction of the attention because of overwatch.

don't get me wrong, i love overwatch. it's a great game. but battleborn deserves some attention too. releasing it so close to overwatch was just a huge mistake.

It doesn't require them to go outside though. Pets can bring ticks in without them having to leave.

Thoughts on endgame plots, timing, etc?

that's all there is to it for me. i'm interested in their canon self, not an au.

it's even worse when the person who apps in turns out to be not very good with the character at all, so then you can't even have fun tagging their version.

That's part of their gig. Last time I had an issue finding a specialist, the guy over the phone hooked me up with a hospital about 30 miles away that said they wouldn't take my insurance originally.

a tick on a pet is not going to hop to a person because it already has a host...

It'd probably have more attention if it was a better game.

Ticks also will change hosts for each life cycle typically. So yes, it is possible for a person who doesn't go out to get them via pets who do.
