Huh, you bring up a really good point there that I hadn't thought of at all - I'm basically super-rural fringe midwest, so we aren't exactly bursting with diversity, and the town I'm in now is overwhelmingly catholic. Now that you've pointed it out though, something like a kosher deli wouldn't set off the same alarms as, say, Hobby Lobby at all. Still, I probably wouldn't apply there unless there wasn't a very big job market though, because I'd definitely have the assumption (which might be entirely wrong) that they'd prefer to hire someone who adhered to their faith.

A store could provide employees that speak Spanish, for example, and be shitty in every other way. Having Spanish speaking employees says nothing for the level of customer service, the ability to keep the premises clean, the store stocked, etc. The only thing it says is they have employees who can answer questions in Spanish.

The best example I can think of is the game itself is like Star Trek with superheroes, with a lot of action and adventure and some diplomacy, mysteries, and exploration. The test drives are like the whacky mirror universe and alternate dimension episodes, or the trippy episodes where Q is screwing with the crew. It's a window into part of the game but not the whole thing, just like the weird trippy Q stuff in Star Trek is an important part of the show but not the only part.

Most of those are superhero and sci fi but then we're taking a sidetrip into the Hunger Games, and that's how the game tends to roll. A lot of conventional sci fi and superhero stuff with sidetrips into other genres and otherdimensional weirdness.
