rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i thought everyone was in agreement that hitchcock films are extremely overrated and, him being a rapist and all, kinda tainted now

guess some people haven't caught up

none of his movies have aged well save psycho, which i consider a fluke. i would not consider any of his other films to be "must watch" status tbh. the birds is goofy. rear window is a snoozefest. vertigo... lol.

there's plenty of legendary classic filmmakers who make lots of films that HAVE aged well, and the creators aren't fucking creeps on top of it.

Sure. I've only seen one Hitchcock movie in my life and wasn't personally impressed, but his movies are still enjoyed by other people and regarded as classics. Him being a bad person doesn't change that.
