absolutely. she comes from a canon that basically lives on this principle and that's just living life to the fullest, you can die at any point might as well make it fun

YES. She's an adventurous and extremely nerdy middle-aged lady, and would think the phrase sounds very hip and devil-may-care.

If other people seemed embarrassed by her saying it, that would just encourage her; she'd think it was hilarious.
