rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

like i said, i don't know what they were like before, i'm just going on what i see right now and they look to be plenty active to me. they're tagging around and their threads are a decent length. the others don't look like they tag out much at all, which i would think isn't a good thing when the entire point of the position is to be accessible to the rest of the characters.

Well one thing to bear in mind is that their app was accepted with a comment about activity. That alone says the mods felt there was a problem. Also, when they idled out, it wasn't so much they forgot to comment to the AC. It was because they didn't even have a bare minimum of activity to take a strike. The mods require being able to show some activity, like a thread with at least two comments from them.

That's pretty bad in a game where the AC is so easy you can pass it in five days without making a post. Before that I think they had at least one strike and just an overall bad track record.

So yeah, I don't blame the mods for saying no after that. The player needs some time to show they have changed and are no longer a flake. I'm glad the mods put their foot down on that one at least. The other two aren't that bad, but like another anon said the choices weren't that great and the only bad choice was the one who definitely had activity problems in the past. What I don't get is why the mods didn't just go with one rep there like with Aiada and Daimonia (who had much more active players get turned down).

ah okay, i didn't know that part. i'm surprised none of the more active characters who were aligned with thras signed up, but maybe there were ic reasons why they wouldn't.

agreed with the anon who thinks that the thing with the aiada and daimonia reps was weird, though. there were a lot of active players who signed up for those, so why did they only choose one for each? i don't get a lot of their choices, tbh.

Actually looking at the spreadsheet and who is aligned to Thras, most are too new to have been able to sign up, the rest are also not very active, already have a position, or wouldn't go for it ICly. Yeah, I really think they should have gone with one for Thras and opened things up a few months down the road for the second positions to be filled.
