I'm wondering why only one for Daimonia and Aiada when both had enough volunteers who are reasonably active and seem decent enough to fill both. Players were only advised about the same thing the announcement gave that they'll be backups.

The rest were no surprise though.

Good old mod favoritism. Most of the characters chosen are also personal friends of the head mod.

Not ayrt, I was the one who was wondering about why one rep for Daimonia and Aiada.

Looking at the choices, I can see why the mods didn't pick White, since she got the political rep position and admitted to furthering an agenda. But the rest of them look fine and the players are active and the characters reasonably accessible and the players get involved in plots. It makes absolutely no sense why only one rep for Daimonia and Aiada and some feedback would have been appreciated.

yeah, if there was an ic reason for it i feel like they should have said so? otherwise it just looks strange.

Maybe it will come up in the IC announcement? We still haven't had that yet.

I actually did and haven't seen a response yet. Someone else ICly asked about Aiada and that really didn't explain much and just gives the impression it was for OOC reasons.

If there's an IC reason it also makes no sense. The reps were picked before threads even started. I'm seeing similarities in things said between people picked and not picked. And if it's IC, why stress the whole well if the rep drops, is fired, etc. your character gets a chance. And if it's a max of two positions, is there a way people who didn't get picked can run again later? It just seems poorly handled with little feedback to the players and that leaves me not surprised that someone is crying mod favoritism. I'd just like to know what I can do to get more involved in the overall game plot rather than just character drama (though don't get me wrong, I love that stuff).

Im a little baffled as to why people were told their success or lack of ahead of time. Seems like it would just kill the drive for doing those logs.

And yet at almost 500 comments the log seems to be doing okay.

and somehow the mod doing aiada's tags hasn't tagged back in days.

chill out anon, they just recently lost a pet and they've been pretty down about it. they'll get to it.

I actually did bring that up and was told it was for administrative purposes.
