rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

my ideal is fantasy/sol, which is why i'm really looking forward to that new dragon one that's being hashed over here. i'm not into horror or aus, so that whittles it down a little, and the others i've had recced just haven't pinged me, either because the concept wasn't my jam or, and i'll admit this is shallow of me, there weren't any chars on the taken list i'd want to play with. i don't need a cast to join a game, but if i don't know any of the chars/canons on a taken list, it dims my interest a little.

that's fair! hope the dragon one works out for you -- i don't know off the top of my head of any fantasy/sol ones except that new noragami game, and canon-based games aren't everybody's cup of tea (also it's tiny.)

i wouldn't mind a canon based game if i actually knew the canon, but since most of the ones i've seen have been anime based and i'm an icky live face player... (grin)

some day something will come along and i'm hoping that with some of the bigger games closing (even though no, i'm not happy they're closing in general because that'd just be mean and petty) that maybe a few more will crop up to fill the need. supply and demand, right?

i hope you're right! i'd love to see a bunch of smaller niche games pop up -- they're easier to mod and easier to keep on top of as a player.

some canon based la games could be cool too. babylon 5 would make a great SF game setting, and i've seen a few people toss around the idea of an au game of thrones type thing.

i have a few canons i wouldn't mind seeing games made out of. something like supernatural without any of the main chars would be neat. i'd love something fantasy as well (though i'm also not a fan of au, but hey, for those that are, thumbs up), maybe even humorous. i'd just like something that's not super serious/horror/grimdark. or political.

not to say those games shouldn't be made. make them. i hope someone does because i know lots of people that would love to play in them. i'd just love something that really catches my attention and that i'd get excited to play with.
