rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

My concern isn't disallowing OCs. It is your game and you can do as you wish with it. No crime there. It seemed weird to me personally when CRAUs are allowed and can shift canon just as much as writing a character from scratch. Yes, i play an OC and I'm bummed this is a game i cant apply to but I just thought allowing CRAU and not OCs seemed strange. Regardless, good luck with your game!

CRAUs still tie back to canon. Allows CRAU--> should allow OCs is one hell of a weird logic leap

agreeing with above anon. as much as i personally dislike craus, they still not only have a basis in canon, but they have to show how they got from point a to point b. there's a trail to follow and if someone doesn't have that, then i'd assume they couldn't app them as is. and really, it depends on the crau. allowing one doesn't and shouldn't mean the other's allowed. no one argues when an oc friendly game doesn't allow craus, so coming in to make a reverse argument doesn't hold any ground, sorry.
