They mentioned Kenny, but since I'm canon-blind I can't really say.

On my end it looked like just any other round of assignments. Not like that one back last summer where there were around five or six merpeople. Then it really felt like they were just giving that to whoever didn't opt out of it.

i remember that. so many merpeople it was like they were trying to make up for everyone who ever opted out of it.

mer always struck me as what you get when they don't know what to give you. it's like the booby prize of monster assignments.

nayrt but Kenny's entire plan for survival in s1 of his game hinges on trying to find a boat to use to get away from the mainland, and he gets so obsessive over it even when it clearly isn't going to work out that it becomes hilarious. it's a pretty common meme in TWDG fandom.

that and i remember hearing that his job before the apocalypse was a fisherman.
