so it's a gw contination? i'd heard there was a manga to that effect, frozen teardrop or something like that, but i was so burnt out on gundam at the time (i tried getting back into it a few years ago through one of the few remaining diehard wing players. BIG MISTAKE) i never looked into it further
i'd intended that as a one-off comment, but since you responded and i'm responding: hafta say, a big part of the burnout for me too (maybe even more than the trainwreck of seed destiny) was the fandom. in a way you were lucky jumping off when the fandom was still finding itself, because when it DID find itself shortly after gw and g finishing airing, it... wasn't pretty. there was a LOT of infighting between fandoms of different verses, more than a little proto-mra behavior, and it all just got a little too jeremy kyle for my taste
of course since the seeds failed to follow up on gw and g's success and zeta was kind of a nonstarter gundam in america is (i think) mostly a dead horse. so far as i know the only content we've got from across the pond was the dwg games, but when the newest one was a ps3 exclusive i couldn't even enjoy that, sigh
i'd like to get back some of the old enthusiasm because i still have a shitload of the old g and gw action figures and mangas released around the time and they still have fond memories. but then i remember the batshit insane uc purists and the crazy gw diehards still with us today (hint if you ever consider playing with a tlh zechs or a certain short-haired duo, run for the hills instead) and i just envy your freshness
