rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

What do they think we are, five? Of course them letting a gay bashing racist remain in the game for months and months is going to put people off of approaching them. Not just about Phase, but any other problems that crop up. They damaged the trust of players in the game by not acting to remove a toxic element from the game when first notified.

Expecting players to approach them with their names attached is fine, but they've got to be more pro-active if they want to win our trust and comfort back. Hopefully if they boot Phase it could go a long way towards starting that.

yeah, mods should definitely be swayed by random people who could be coming in from anywhere. that makes so much sense.

With pastebins that cite shitty behavior that's been established in a pattern. Whining about the death of democracy because teh geis can marry is awful, and saying women shouldn't get a choice in their own body is disgusting.

We get it, Phase, you're butthurt that your actions have consequences on your pretendy funtimes. But deal with it. You're a piece of shit human being and aren't above consequences.

no, i definitely support a mod's decision not to act on anything anonymous, even with pastebins. the one exception is maybe letting people use a sock if they have a problem with a mod.

i'm not gonna say FREE SPEECH!!! as a reason because we've established that that would be retarded, but it does set a precedent i wouldn't be happy with.

The problem is that we don't know who was defending Phase before by saying her views were harmless and people should leave her alone. They could be a mod for all we know. They were anonymous, too, but clearly in the game.

For the record that wasn't the exact wording (I just woke up then, sorry about that), but yeah the general idea is "don't rely on anon comms".

Allegedly no one approached them about it before recently, only within the last month. So back when it actually happened players might've been dodging bringing it up.

"There has recently been an instance of aggressive behavior between players, which has been belatedly brought to our attention. No worries, the issue is settled and is now behind us."

ftr this post showed up right around phase's supreme court blowup. how, exactly, could the "issue" be "settled" if they allegedly weren't aware of what was happening at the time? i call bullshit.

why would that post even be about phase? "aggressive behavior between players" isn't how I'd describe the phase issue.

this wasn't even about phase if I'm remembering right it had to do with anonymous plurks about tag speed and plotting
