rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. it's hard to tell where the influence from second wave stopped and third wave dove into for sloppy seconds. Cause Second wave did do most of the work for that one.

Which is why the wave model is pretty idiotic in general.

A lot of things were accomplished during the Third Wave period. Most of them are built to one degree or another on foundations laid down by the Second Wave, which itself relied on a lot of the foundations laid down by the First Wave. It's useful to note shifts in focus and ideology, but progress can't be easily attributed because none of it happens in a vacuum.

As a guy I can say that I've seen "third wave" feminists really spoke up for the whole "men can be raped, too." Growing up in a household where it was viewed that men can't be raped, when I got to university, hearing this acknowledged actually was pretty relieving. I've seen similar posts that assault can happen to men on tumblr and Facebook too.

And hey, it's okay to be bitter that the people you don't like actually have done something good. And it's okay to realize that some of them are bad, too. But you asked for what good they did, and this is the good they did for me. Be upset but there's no need to dismiss it.

there is much more evidence of feminist being shit and completely dismissive towards male rape and domestic abuse against males then there is of them being good about it, like you luckily saw.
