10 what? white heroes for little girls? ariel, cinderella, belle, anna, elsa, aurora, snow white, tinkerbell, merida, rapunzel. i literally did that with nothing but disney movies, and i'm sure i could come up with a hundred more if i knew more about kids' franchises. powerpuff girls, barbie, dorothy from wizard of oz, alice in wonderland, kim possible...

how about just white girl detectives, because the idea that there are somehow no white role models/heroines for girls in hollywood doesn't even merit a response

babysitters club mysteries (all seven babysitters got books - five of them were white)
american girl mysteries (samantha, kirsten, etc. - again, one black girl)

all of these i remember from my own childhood. here's a list with some newer books.
