Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

as someone who's busted a metric fuckton of kiddies trying to buy cigarettes from me, lol @ "maybe she looked older"

you will still look like a kid no matter how delicately you apply your makeup

you don't get out much, do you? it's not about makeup. there are teenagers that just don't have that child-look to them. i was in class with a 14 year old guy that was 6'7 and had a fully grown in beard. he looked 25, easy. not saying that lori had a beard or plastic titties, but holy shit, you guys act like every 13 year old girl has chubby baby cheeks and no tits while wearing dolly dresses.

it was the 60s. go look up what girls of all ages were wearing back then. add drugs and the possibility that she didn't look like a kid. you have reasonable doubt.

there are specifically pictures of lori mattix from this time

she looks like, to me, to be in her early 20s. she knew this. she's said she knew this and took advantage of it.

uh huh. and you expect me to think that being a store clerk gives you an excessive range of knowledge in teenagers outside of the desperate ones trying to buy cigarettes? please.

People thought I was 20 when I was 12. Like, literally, I kept getting people being surprised when I said I was 12 and insisting I had to be lying.

i have this weird babyface thing that makes me look younger than i am in my 30s (i get people thinking i'm 19-20is all the time), but when i was 13+, i grew my tits in and apparently that made me look 19-20 too. i had a lot of inappropriate attention from adult men, some who looked horrified to find out they'd been hitting on a teenager, others that seemed not to care and would try to offer to get me drunk. there are all types and it is not always easy to tell how old someone is without id.

this. people routinely assumed my sister was a college student when she was in junior high. meanwhile, i'm in my 30s and people always look shocked when they see the birthdate on my id because they'd thought i was a high school or college student.

as a cashier who has done the same, being trained to ask for id until someone stops looking 40 is not being able to magically tell ages apart.
